The Phoenix Respect Programme is designed to help people improve their current or future relationships with partners
If you feel you would benefit from making changes in your relationship or are unhappy with the way you sometimes speak to or treat your partner then we will to try to help.
Maybe you’ve been aggressive, scary, violent, cruel or unkind in the past to a partner or ex-partner but have now decided to make a change. If so then the Phoenix Respect Programme is designed to support you to make that change.
How it works is that once you have contacted us, or someone has asked us to contact you with your permission, we will arrange a time to meet, introduce you to the programme, and discuss some crisis management techniques. After that you will decide for yourself if the programme it is right for you.
If you do decide to participate then you will meet again with a worker to see if you are likely to be helped by the programme. After this, and if you and they agree the programme is right for you, you will start on the programme.
The programme is aimed at anyone, male or female, who wants to make a change.
Some of the themes of the programme are:
Emotional Recognition and Control
Thoughts and Beliefs
Problem Solving and Communication
